This past weekend, Edible Indy explored the vibrant and diverse offerings at the Uncork Me Indiana festival, hosted by Brothers Malloy Events. Held in Indianapolis, this event was a dream for wine, mead, and cider enthusiasts, featuring unlimited samplings from some of the region’s most passionate and innovative beverage makers.

The festival was a refreshing reminder of the robust and dynamic food and drink scene that Indianapolis and its surrounding areas have to offer. The local community turned out in force to support Indiana’s artisans, creating an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. Festival-goers eagerly sampled a vast array of drinks, each sip offering a new and delightful experience.

One of the highlights of the event was discovering new favorites. With over 100 wines, meads and ciders to try, the variety was astounding. Whether a seasoned wine connoisseur, a cider lover, or someone curious about meads, there was no shortage of options to explore. Each booth had knowledgeable representatives eager to share their craft, making the tasting experience both enjoyable and educational.

Among the participants were locals, Ash & Elm Cider Co., Easley Winery, Sip & Share Wines, and The Rejoicing Vine. These local gems showcased their best selections, a testament to their commitment to quality and innovation. Ash & Elm impressed with their crisp and refreshing ciders. Easley Winery offered a range of wines that highlighted the rich flavors of Indiana’s vineyards. Sip & Share Wines brought a unique and inclusive approach to their offerings, while The Rejoicing Vine delighted with their handcrafted wines that resonated with both novice and experienced wine lovers.

The Uncork Me Indiana festival was more than just an event; it was a celebration of local talent and community spirit. It underscored the importance of supporting local businesses, who in turn enrich our community with their passion and dedication.
