Every year, Devour Indy puts on two seasonal citywide food festivals. From January 19th to February 1st, over 150 restaurants around the city are putting forth exclusive menus and limited offers for guests trying something new. The edible Indy team has assembled a list of ten Devour menus that we’ve got our eye on.
1830 Chophouse
Westsiders are in for a treat, as 1830 Chophouse in Lebanon has a Prix Fixe menu to show all the ways their kitchen is more than steaks. If you’re up for southern comfort, you can start with the Bacon Corn Hushpuppies, then have the braised short ribs for the entrée before finishing off with a decadent brownie served in a cast iron skillet. Reservations aren’t required but they might be a good idea, especially on weekends.
Jinya Ramen Bar
The Devour menu at Jinya is designed for date night. Mix and match ramens, split a side, and finish the night with some sake. The atmosphere of this 116th street spot sets the tone– low-lit, modern, and warm.
MO’s: A Place For Steaks
Longstanding Indy locals will know that the true blue benefit of Devour is for the big ticket nights out to offer a bit of savings while you try somewhere new. It doesn’t get much newer than Mo’s. This Greenwood steakhouse opened up back in November and has already created a ton of buzz, and through February 1st this menu provides the full night out, complete with Filet Mignon or Faroe Salmon, starting from $45 per person.
Nesso Italian Kitchen
If there were ever a better place to splurge for a wine pairing, none come to mind. Nesso Italian Kitchen is a beloved member of the Cunningham family of restaurants, all of which are showing out for Winterfest. Nesso’s intimate dining room on S Delaware offers 3 courses for $50. At $85 per person, diners can also experience a curated selection of paired wines from various regions of Italy with their meal.
Brozinni Pizzeria Southside
For the midweek dinner, Brozinni’s $35 family meal offers 16 inches of their New York Style pizza, served with two toppings of your choice, their buttery garlic knots, and a bit of dessert to finish things off. (fyi they do charge $1.50 for extra dips). This is a good carryout option for those looking to take part in Devour from the comfort of their home.
Geraldine’s Supper Club
Downtown’s beloved jazz-lounge-meets-fine-dining concept is offering a bit of personalization this winter. Their 3-course set menu starts at $60 with choice of ahi tuna or steak for the main, but guests can pick and choose some additions for larger cuts or a bit of surf and turf. Guests can also finish the night with a tableside coffee service.
Bakersfield Restaurant | Mass Ave
The home of a crowd favorite margarita, Bakersfield is bringing a $36 set menu to Mass Ave. That price includes chips and dip for the table, a side/starter, three tacos or an order of taquitos, and a cocktail.
Another Broken Egg
Did someone say brunch? At any of their Indy area locations, Another Broken Egg is offering a discounted selection of breakfast options, like their cinnamon bun french toast, and lunch options, like their southern stack club, for $15 with your choice of drink.
Salt
The Devour Indy menu is a great excuse to visit the newly opened Carmel location. Starting at $39, Salt’s offerings include 3 courses from their scratch kitchen; a salad to start, an entrée and side, and choice of cheesecake or macarons for dessert. Salt’s menu also offers optional “enhancements” like Maine lobster and pan-seared scallops at an additional cost.
Shin Dig
This American style pizza-wing-burger joint has just turned one, and to celebrate they’re bringing a deal to Devour: Choice of starter and main for $20. The combo we’d choose? The caesar salad and a Korean Fried Chicken Wings.
