Christmas Bar Pop-Ups In and Around Indy

The holiday season is in full swing, which means you’re probably looking for ways to get in the holiday spirit. If you consider yourself adventurous, consider popping into one of these Christmas pop-up bars in and around Indy.

The Nutcracker Pop-Up Bar at HC Tavern

Fishers, IN

Located inside HC Taven at the Yard in Fishers, this pop-up bar has a list of exclusive cocktails not available to the rest of the restaurant. Try  “A Slice of Heaven”, a white chocolate raspberry martini made with Barkeep vodka, vanilla, raspberry, and Nocello. Or go for the light and refreshing “Sugar Plum Spritz,”  made with Glendalough Rose gin, fig, sugar plum, lemon, and soda. You can’t order food inside the pop-up so it’s perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink. First come, first serve.

Salute to Santa Pop-Up Bar at Hotel Tango Distillery

Indianapolis, IN 

With some of the better prices we’ve seen, this pop-up will make your spirits bright. Although closed Mondays, Operation Salute to Santa runs during regular business hours in the Fletcher Place Tasting Room through December 31. They have a nice variety to choose from like shots, cocktails and even some zero-proof options. We are drooling over the Sugar Plum Fae featuring Gin, Cranberry, Basil, Plum Syrup, Lemon, and Prosecco. Get a little Christmas shopping done while there and pick up a bottle of their “Swiss Miss’Shmallow.”

Christmas Sips at Chapter Book Lounge

Noblesville, IN 

This part bookstore, part cocktail bar is the perfect spot to cozy up for the holidays. Share a sweet moment with your Santa baby and go for the “Mistletoe Margarita,” silver tequila, cointreau, lime, cranberry, and jalapeños. Or if you’re just sneaking in from the snow, warm up with the “Hot Todderud” made with bourbon, maple syrup, lemon, and a cinnamon stick.

Pop- Up Greenhouses at Daniel’s Vineyard

McCordsville, IN 

Consider this your own private little pop-up experience. The greenhouses at Daniel’s Vineyard offer a cozy, intimate gathering place for you and your people to celebrate the season together. Sip on award winning wines and enjoy artisan pizza and s’mores. Who can be mad about that? These spots fill up fast so book soon.

Miracle of 82nd Street Pop- Up Bar at Harry and Izzy’s

Northside Location, 82nd Street

This nostalgic, cozy pop-up bar has a list of exclusive cocktails featuring sips that are almost too good to drink. Almost. Indulge the “Gingerbread Wishes” featuring Bailey’s, Barkeep vodka, Kahlua, gingerbread and Sundae’s vanilla ice cream. Or go for the lighter “Evergreen Gin & Tonic” with Glendalough gin, rosemary, lime, elderflower and a kiss of grapefruit.You can’t order food inside the pop-up so it’s perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink.
