ZIONSVILLE– Fresh-from-the-farm American Wagyu is now on the market in Indiana. With their soft opening on Saturday, May 10, Willy’s Wagyu Beef Store is now offering direct sales of choice cuts, feet away from the pasture where their 100% Wagyu cattle graze. They offer F1 and Full-Blooded cuts of every variety, from Tomahawks to Baseball sirloins.
Although most of the beef on offer at Willy’s Wagyu is frozen for home meal preparation, local chef Alex Maurer has partnered with the brand for an upcoming farm to table concept with Chef Suzanne Catering. As chef Maurer leaned over the hot grill at the soft opening, coating each steak in compound butter and a brush of fresh herbs, the passion for fresh ingredients and quality food could be seen in every corner of his work. Grilled peppers and roasted onions paired with spit-roasted beef.

“We’re really leaning into our Argentinian influences, they really know how to treat their beef,” said Maurer as he walked through the chimichurri and salsa pairings on offer.
The partnership between Willy’s Wagyu and Chef Suzanne will bring curated menus to life for private dinner events on the farm property as soon as later this year, with Maurer’s demonstration at the heart of the tasting menu. The Beef Store on property is now open for business at 9015 E 200 S, Zionsville, IN.
