Chef Charles Bryant is everywhere—your TV, your local grocery store, and maybe even your kitchen. Born and raised in Indiana, Charles has been making waves in the culinary scene with a little bit of everything, from easy-to-make recipes to salad dressings that fly off the shelves.
After sharpening his skills at culinary school in Portland, Oregon, Charles returned to Greenwood, IN, to bring his love of simple, delicious meals back to his roots.

Cooking Made Simple : “Eat with Chef Charles”
If you’re new to cooking or just looking for quick and tasty ideas, Charles’ debut cookbook, Eat with Chef Charles, is your new best friend. Released in October, the book is packed with recipes that prove cooking doesn’t have to be complicated.
“I want to show people just how easy it is if you give it a chance,” Charles says.
You might have caught his infectious enthusiasm on Lifestyle Live, where he breaks down recipes step-by-step in his live cooking segments. His goal? To help you feel confident in the kitchen while having a little fun.
Hartwell’s Premium: Salad Dressings
Charles doesn’t stop at recipes. His Hartwell’s Premium line of salad dressings features 15 drool-worthy flavors, including the fan-favorite Creamy Dill Ranch, available in Kroger’s refrigerated section and other flavors sold at Needler’s Fresh Market.
But these dressings aren’t just for your fridge at home. They’ve found their way into local schools, Lucas Oil Stadium, the iconic Slippery Noodle, and even catering menus around town. It’s all part of Charles’ mission to bring people together over good food.
A Taste of Netflix Fame
In 2019, Charles was featured on Netflix’s Sugar Rush (Season One, Episode Four), where he showcased his talent for crafting desserts with precision and creativity. Sugar Rush is an American baking reality television series, featuring four professional teams of two competing in a baking competition for a prize of $10,000. Teams of two bakers compete in three rounds including cupcakes, confections, and cake.
