Drinks with friends deserve a bit of a seasonal switch up this month. We’re rounding up some of the best places to start.

The Quarter in Broad Ripple
The Quarter is decked head to toe in garland and candy stripes now through December 31. A classic pub in the heart of Broad Ripple village, this spot has a full brunch menu on Sundays and live pianist in the house on December 11 and 19. Their holiday highlight, though, is easily their tower of espresso martinis–8 for $60, and served on a miniature christmas tree.
St Nick’s Lodge at Harry and Izzy’s
This ski lodge style retreat in Castleton has a stacked holiday menu from the bartenders at Huse Culinary. The heated terrace at Harry and Izzy’s Northside is perfect for a seasonal catch up with friends or a cozy night out for dinner and drinks.
Tiki Tavern at Gather 22
Palm trees sway to an island Christmas tune at Gather 22. Their festive pop-up, the tiki tavern, is all about tropical flavor. Not just one tiki drink, but a whole tiki bar menu– Mai Thais, Miami Vice, a non-alcoholic Snow Bird Colada, and a hybrid Tiki Toddy (that’s an island version of the warm whisky and lemon combo). This pop-up on their heated veranda is open now through January 4.

Astrea Rooftop Bar
With a gorgeous panoramic view of Monument Circle, and lush seasonal cocktails like the smoked Fireside Carols presented in a miniature suitcase, Astrea Rooftop bar is ringing in the holidays in style. Guests can enjoy live DJ santas, weekly red luggage giveaways, and a sweet deal on a special edition of Piper-Heidsick Cuvée Brut Champagne.
The Polar Lodge at Grindstone on the Monon
Grindstone on the Monon’s heated lounge calls to alpine slopes and cozy nights by the fire. From craft cocktails and winter warmers to shareable comfort bites, every detail is designed to make you feel like you’ve wandered into an après-ski hideaway—without ever leaving Westfield.
Reservations are recommended to enjoy any of their holiday beer and cocktail menu. Three Floyds’ Christmas Porter, Alpha Klaus, a White Chocolate Candy Cane Martini and even a non-alcoholic Red Wagon Hot Cocoa are all on the table. Clancy’s Hospitality is donating to Riley Children’s Foundation for each hot cocoa sold.
Wanting more? There’s so much to check out around the city. Maybe Tried & True’s Pistachio Martini will quench your thirst, or the festive mugs at Miracle on Maryland could be the toast of the season. Let us know where you’re sipping this season via Instagram @edibleindy.
