Harry and Izzy’s has officially opened up their heated terrace for the holidays as a pop-up bar called St. Nick’s Lodge. Now through December 21st, guests to Harry and Izzy’s northside will be able to escape into a ski lodge style getaway with seasonal cocktails, festive decor, and comfortable seating for a holiday catch up over drinks.
“Every corner of St. Nick’s Lodge has been thoughtfully designed to feel like you’ve stepped into St. Nick’s own winter retreat. Picture a glow of candlelight. And the set of pine and spice in the air and the warmth of good company after a day in the snow,” said Andrea Richter with Huse Culinary.
With the help of Beverage Director Jen Watterson, we’re breaking down the stacked roster of cocktails available at St. Nick’s Lodge.
Christmas Chai-Tini
A holiday hug in a glass.
“This one is a little selfish for me. I love chai lattes, and I wanted a boozy chai latte,” said Watterson. Her solution is a combo of their vanilla Barkeep vodka, chai tea, heavy cream, and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice on top. “Cool, creamy, and delicious.”
Slippery Slopes
Take the scenic route
From HC Tavern bartender Jonathan Chabal, this Fernet Branca based cocktail blends the herbal liqueur with pineapple, blueberry and lemon. It’s perfect for the patron in-the-know, or those who are particularly drawn to herby spirits around christmas time.
Apres Old Fashioned
A cozy, fireside take on the timeless Old Fashioned
The classic cocktail gets an apple butter twist. Buffalo Trace whiskey served up with some seasonal garnish for a simple play on Apres Ski.
Naughty & Nice
a merry mix of naughty and nice. N/A option available.
This spiced pomegranate margarita is a holiday remix of a familiar favorite on the Harry and Izzy’s menu. “The naughty side of it is the little bit of cayenne pepper on the rim. The nice side is the sweet brown sugar spice simple syrup,” said Watterson. This drink is topped with a sugared rosemary to resemble a christmas tree covered in snow.
Ski Lift (My Spirits)
signature espresso martini takes a sweet ride
This elevated take on their signature espresso martini brings in luxardo cherry and gold flakes.
“That’s our number one cocktail, and I just wanted to elevate it a little bit,” said Watterson. “The gold martini glass really gives it that VIP feel.” The recipe that made the menu was a collaboration between 1933 bartenders Candace Kavanaugh and Owen Friesen.

Reindeer Games
merry, bright, and a bit mischievous
“We wanted a rum cocktail inspired by Mele Kalikimaka, the Hawaiian Christmas carol.”
Banana liquor, coconut, and spiced rum come together to create this Bing Crosby inspired island christmas blend.
Snow Globe
A sparkling celebration. N/A option available.
Cranberry and rosemary sit serenely together at the bottom of this champagne flute turned literal snow globe. Edible gold glitter and carbonated bubbles of sparkling wine come together to create this stunning effect. Combined with St Nick’s house selection of Francois Montand, there’s no better toast to the holidays.
Grandma Got Hungover (By a Reindeer)
Warm up with Salted Caramel Baileys and Ghirardelli hot chocolate. N/A option available.
A warm alternative to drinking too much eggnog, this Bailey’s hot chocolate comes together with decadent salted caramel and is topped with freshly-toasted marshmallows. A cup that embodies cozy evenings by the campfire.
Blitzen’s Nightcap
A jolly jolt. N/A option available.
The caffeinated twin flame to Grandma’s hot cocoa, this whiskey-spiked coffee is finished with housemade cinnamon toast crunch cold foam.
Polar Magic
A little shimmer, a little spice, and plenty of holiday magic
A holiday gin cocktail made with blackberry jam, holiday-spiced syrup, fresh lemon, and topped with gold-glittered blackberries.

“My aim was to create a menu that truly welcomes everyone—showcasing a full range of spirits to appeal to different tastes, while also offering thoughtful zero-proof options for guests who want to celebrate without alcohol.”
This adults only getaway on the heated terrace at Harry and Izzy’s Northside is open Thursday through Sunday, 4 p.m. to close. Reservations are not required, but are available via OpenTable. Guests can check in at the host stand before being directed to the pop-up on the terrace. St. Nick’s Lodge is at 4050 East 82nd Street, Indianapolis. Learn more at harryandizzys.com
