Laura’s Dope Lemonades is making a splash in the bustling world of Indianapolis’s food and beverage scene.

Despite being founded during the pandemic, Laura Yahya crafted a unique niche in the beverage market with Dope Lemonades.

Laura’s journey with Dope Lemonades began at a pivotal time in her life. While having recently welcomed a baby at 40 and facing the global pandemic, Laura saw an opportunity. She merged her love for creativity with her desire to provide something refreshing and nourishing to her community. “What started as a small hobby is growing to something that has brought my family together and has supplemented my income,” says Yahya.

Innovating Hydration

Dope Lemonades is not a lemonade stand; it’s a celebration of flavor, culture, and seasonal ingredients. Laura’s approach to hydration is both inventive and intentional. Each drink is thoughtfully crafted to incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables. Every sip as nutritious as it is delicious.

The company prides itself on exploring a wide range of flavor trends and cultural influences.   The strawberry pineapple lemonade is a popular one and kids opt for the Baby Shark (Blue Lemonade, Nerds, Swedish Fish, Gummy Shark). Laura also accommodated those who jumped on the viral pickle drink trend offering Dill With It (a pickle lemonade). Also, popular cultural flavors include the Lime Dragon (Lime, Dragon Fruit, Cucumber, Mint) and Garden Party Iced Tea (Hibiscus Tea, Rosewater, Ginger). They also offer sugar free options, seasonal flavors and mocktails.

A Commitment to Community

Dope Lemonades is a regular at festivals, pop-ups, and community events. “We are working towards getting a food trailer. Our ultimate goal is becoming a concession vendor at one (or more) of the major sporting arenas in Indianapolis,” says Yahya.

Dope Lemonades also offers catering services, which has become increasingly popular as it provides a unique and flavorful option for celebrations and corporate events.

Embracing the Future

As Indianapolis continues to embrace diverse culinary experiences, Laura’s Dope Lemonades stands out as a pioneer of creativity and quality in the world of beverages.  Additionally, Laura’s vision for hydrating people in a delicious and culturally rich way is making an impression that’s good to the last drop.
