From June 24 to July 29, over 50 Hamilton County restaurants will be offering special deals and exclusive menu items in celebration of the Indiana tenderloin. The Tenderloin Trail, which was established in 2009 as an annual opportunity to spotlight Hoosier cooking, touches every corner of Hamilton County and beyond, from Zionsville to Geist, and from 465 to Cicero.
What to Know Before You Go
First, the best way to travel the Tenderloin Trail is with a passport. It’s fast and easy to claim yours, and gives you access to tons of Tenderloin Tuesday deals and discounts from over 50 participating restaurants. When you use your passport to claim discounts at four or more stops along the trail, you can claim a free T-shirt (while supplies last).

Although most participating businesses are serving up the traditional crispy pork tenderloin on a bun, the Tenderloin Trail is also offering up several variations on the classic. At Swayzee Loinz, you’ll find a tenderloin topped pizza. Stop by Bar Ellis for a vegan take on the classic. At The Roost in Fishers, they’re serving up a tenderloin breakfast biscuit with plenty of sawmill gravy. Whichever way you slice it, there’s plenty to explore along Indiana’s Original Tenderloin Trail.
Edible Indy is also giving away gift cards to participating restaurants all month long– find our exclusive giveaways on Instagram for a chance to win.
How do you eat your Tenderloin? Do you …
Edge it – Grab a fork and a knife and eat the overhanging edges of the tenderloin first.
Once it becomes a manageable size within the bun, pick it up and proceed.
Stack it – Remove the bun and cut the tenderloin in half. Stack the halves back inside the
bun and enjoy a double-thick, twice-as- nice sandwich.
Halve it – Leave the overhanging edges as they are but make it easier to handle by slicing
the whole sandwich right in half. Easy yet effective!
Just Dig in – Throw caution to the wind and attack that bad boy just the way it is.
