Indy’s Swiftie Era: A Guide to Concert Weekend Events

Indianapolis is in its Taylor Swift era as businesses in and around the city gear up for one of the biggest music weekends in the city’s history.

From Swift-inspired cocktail menus to late-night ‘midnight’ snacks, Indianapolis restaurants and bars are rolling out the red carpet for Swifties with themed celebrations across the city. These 10 must-try food and drink events will turn your concert weekend into a full-on culinary tour through the eras.

Tinker House + NOM Catering’s Eras Extravaganza: Prepare to shake it off on Saturday, November 2, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Tinker House Events. Enjoy a day of dancing, karaoke and bracelet making while enjoying NOM’s small bites and Tinker’s specialty cocktails and mocktails. General admission is $50 per ticket.

Guggman Haus Brewing Co’s Taylor Swift Trivia: Are you Taylor’s biggest fan? Get ready to put your knowledge to the test at Guggman Haus Brewery’s Taylor Swift Trivia event with Hambone’s on Thursday, October 31, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are free and space is limited, so be sure to RSVP.

Filigree Bakery’s Themed Treats: On October 26 and November 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market, Filigree Bakery will sell Taylor Swift-themed cakes and macarons for all of your Swiftie hosting and party needs. Be sure to come early to get your goodies before they sell out or pre-order ahead of time.

Ash & Elm Cider Co’s Era Box: Ash and Elm curated a box of 13 Taylor-themed ciders, each representing a different era and packed in a Lover’s House box. The last boxes will be available in person at the Indianapolis and Carmel taprooms starting Wednesday, October 30. Most stock will be released as pre-orders, so be sure to sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know when they drop.

3UP’s Wildest Dreams Rooftop Bash: Feeling 22? Head to 3UP’s rooftop bash, featuring a live DJ, Swift-inspired cocktails representing each era and a friendship bracelet exchange. Walk-ins are welcome until the bar reaches capacity, or you can reserve a table for up to 10 guests ahead of time for a fee. The party starts on November 1 and 2 at 5 p.m. and goes until midnight(s).

Flower Boys Blooms & Beats: Have an enchanting pre-concert day by making a flower crown or wrapped bouquet representing one of Taylor’s eras. These florals make the perfect finishing touch to any Taylor-inspired outfit. Each $48 ticket also comes with a themed mocktail, which can be turned into a cocktail for an added cost. The event is on Friday, November 1 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m.

Skyline Club’s Eras Tour Drag Brunch: There are no champagne problems here. The Skyline Club is pulling out all the stops with its Taylor-themed drag brunch, including an over-the-top buffet and bottomless mimosas. The event is on Saturday, October 26, at noon; general admission tickets are $65. 

Metazoa’s Swift Era Pints & Painting: Metazoa is hosting a Swift-themed pints & painting event on Saturday, October 26. Each $30 ticket comes with the painting materials needed to create the Taylor painting of your (wildest) dreams. Your canvas will have everything outlined for you ahead of time, with the ability to make any changes you’d like with the help of an onsite artist.

Cookie Decorating Class at Tuggles: Are you ready for it? In this class, you’ll learn the basics of cookie decorating, including techniques for piping and handling dough and icing. For $60 a ticket, you’ll walk away with a new skill and six Taylor-themed cookies. The class is on Wednesday, October 30, at 6 p.m.
