A Cup of Chai
Chai is loved by many, but especially Pravy Nijjar, owner of A Cup of Chai. Pravy lived in India much of his life, but now resides in Indianapolis and was inspired to share his passion for chai by creating a warm space for his new community. In addition to tasty, high quality chai, popular dishes from India, such as savory, spiced filled samosas and buttery bun maska can be found on the menu. We especially love the option of their chai tasting menu to explore the range of flavor in this delightful tea.

Rustic Root Tea Room
If you are looking to slow down and perhaps even remember a grandmother of yours that also loved tea, take a little drive to Rustic Root Tea Room in Beech Grove. Sisters Tammy and Jenny brought their family’s roots to life by designing the “Rose Room” part of their tea shop around their grandmother’s delicate china pattern and naming the space after her. Offering a full menu and high tea options (we love the idea of a “Princess Tea” for little ladies), this one is worth the trip!

Harmony Tea Shoppe
Harmony Tea Shoppe welcomes guests into refreshing-fun and colorful storefronts all across central Indiana. They have an extensive fast casual menu and when it comes to the drinks there are options galore: Milk tea, fruit tea, boba or bubble tea, brewed tea, matcha, and more all while keeping it fresh and seasonal. Tea’s Me Cafe
Multihyphenate and Indianapolis basketball legend Tamika Catchings also boasts the proud title of Tea’s Me Cafe owner. Tea’s Me Cafe serves up loose leaf tea sourced from around the world along with great food. Each location, including the newest one found in the IU-Indy Campus Center, provides a welcoming, wonderful atmosphere. Also new to Tea’s Me are five flavors of bottled tea. Proceeds from “The Starting Five,” as they are called, go right back to Tamika’s Foundation, Catch The Stars.

Tilly’s Tea Room
It’s back! After closure of the location above Saks Fifth Avenue, Tilly’s Tea Room will be returning to the Indianapolis area with a new location in Fishers this month. The staff is bringing back many of the old favorites, including their traditional tea service and their famous clotted cream. Tilly’s is also adding a wine bar to its offerings in the evening, complete with well-curated beer, wine, and small plates. For a true English tea experience, look no further than Tilly’s.
